Hohberger Pure Sugar Cooking and Cooling Systems are widely used for the production of after dinner mints and other fine confections. These integrated cooking and wheel-cooling machines offer an efficient alternative to the traditional method of batch cooking and then cooling the sugar on individual cold tables. This continuous process eliminates the handling of hot sugar exiting the cookers and dramatically reduces the amount of overall floor space required. A single operator is required to handle the output of the system, delivering to the pulling station a sugar batch that is uniform and consistent in temperature and finished solids, while free of any pre-graining.

System is all stainless-steel and includes intake pump, vertical heat exchanger, steam-jacketed flash chamber with exhaust blower, spreader, teflon-coated cooling drum with integral cooling system, scraper and take-away conveyor, all with single-point utility connections.
